Kick it!

Note to Tony Dungy: Freedom of speech or thought no longer exists in America. All thoughts and statements need to be filtered through the media first and if they meet the right criteria they will be allowed. If you have a doubt, check with Bob Costas, he’ll tell you what to think. Honestly, you should know this by now.

Loved the guy in the past, and agree with Matt Kemp now…I’m open to trading him, but who’s dumb enough to take his contract? Only team I can think of would be the Knicks.

Do you believe there is a sports karma? Reading a comment on this site the other day sparked the thought in me again. There is an aspect of what goes around comes around…Or is that; what comes around goes around? Does God look at a program, team, or player and say “that’s it!” and zap them back to a level below proles and commoners?

(Spare me the comment or criticism of God having too much to do to worry about who wins and loses…God is God, he can do what he wants. So leave it at that.)

Am I predicting a CIF title for El Rancho…No, but are they moving forward absolutely.

I’ll be happy to be proven wrong, but I don’t see a Del Rio team winning another CIF title for a long time. The Serra League schools have come to play and they’re playing hard. Only top tier teams in the Suburban, San Gabriel, and Pacific will have a shot against them.

The two divisions we cover that will be the most fun are the Mid-Valley and the Northwest, and I say that because there are schools in those playoff groupings with legitimate opportunities. Schools most would say are long shots could make a memorable run.

In the Central and Southeast? Nope. There are programs in these divisions that have zero chance of making a semifinal game. Zero, zip, nada.

Last Add Dungy: Don’t worry about it Coach, freedom speech hardly exists in the church anymore.

Chase Headley? That’s the Yankees big move? Headley is so 2012, getting excited about him in you batting order is like getting excited about Hangover IV…And this has nothing to do with the lousy 2013 season he delivered my fantasy team. I’m not a bitter person at all.

I was down at Rio Hondo Prep yesterday and at least one parent seems happy they are now in our coverage sphere.

The Mission Valley League is underrated. Sounds crazy, but it is.

You heard it here first Keppel gets not one, but two league wins in 2014. That’s a guarantee, lock it up…it’s that third win, the one that would get them into the post season, I’m not as certain about.

Keppel last won an Almont League game in 1999

I agree with the Sierra Canyon reload, but I’m not so sure how far they’ll come. Remember three years ago they were 15-0 and state champs…Two years ago they needed a miracle on fourth and forever at Bergstrom to get past Arroyo.

Note on Highlight Films: (yes, this is a repeat) We love them…send them to us…If we can help get your son or player some exposure we’re happy…Our only request is no profanity in the music…Here’s a tip; the last few years there seems to be a growing trend of no music at all, just the presentation of the highlights. I didn’t like them at first, but they have really grown on me. Kind of like the guy who scores the touchdown in the NFL and then hands the ball over to the official.

Regards:

In regards to “The Walking Dead”: I am so ready for the next season.

In regards to Carlos Boozer coming to the Lakers: For 3.25-million that’s a fair price, but the dude is old and more earth-bound than the Grand Canyon.

In regards to San Dimas: What is it like to live in SD?

In regards to being 6.5 out with 63 games to play: Go Indians!

In regards to Jerry Brown & Football Legislation: He is the elected Governor of California and if you didn’t vote for him, your friends, neighbors, and family probably did. So deal with it.

The Dude abides…
