Final KISS is a Loss

LA KISS(Jacksonville) – The LA KISS trailed by just two at halftime but was outscored 27-12 in the second half and fell to the Jacksonville Sharks 53-36 Saturday night in the regular season finale.

J.J. Raterink completed just 14 of 29 for 142 yards and two touchdowns while also throwing an interception for the KISS. Meanwhile Shark quarterback R.J. Archer fired six touchdowns and 318 yards on 25 of 36 completions with no picks.

Former Crescenta Valley star Sam Campbell scored twice for the KISS from the fullback position and Donovan Morgan had five catches for 65 yards and a touchdown.

For Jacksonville Jomo Wilson hauled in seven passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns from Archer and Jeron Harvey caught four balls for 44 yards and a pair of scores.

The KISS started off the season winning two of its first three games but lost 14 of the next 15 to finish at 3-15 in the inaugural season.
