2. Former USC running back Stafon Johnson is an assistant at Dorsey- his high school alma mater.

3. USC opened training camp Monday before about 300 onlookers at Brian Kennedy – Howard Jones Field.

4. New York Giants running back David Wilson is expected to retire after being placed on injured reserve for the 2014 season with a neck injury.

5. The San Antonio Spurs hire WNBA star Becky Hammon as an assistant coach.

8. Happy Birthday to former Spurs’ center David Robinson who turns 49 today.
