1. Angels pitcher Garrett Richards suffers a left knee/patellar injury that is possibly season ending.

2. Former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling reveals that he had oral cancer that he believes was caused by a 30 year habit of chewing tobacco. Schilling has had treatment and is now in remission.

3. Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Jim Kelly, who has also battled oral cancer, received a clean bill of health as doctors found no trace of cancer in his latest screening.

4. NBA referee Dick Bavetta, 74, is retiring after a 39 year career in which he never missed an assignment.
