Two weeks into the season and after all is said and done, there are more questions then answers when it comes to the top 10. Will give Kaiser and Colony a pass after tough losses to good programs. South Hills and Los Altos get knocked out of the Top 10. Huskies due to their embarrassing loss to La Habra and the Conquerors due to averaging just 17 points per game. Welcome to the party, Diamond Ranch with two nice wins and Chaffey who may surprise some in the Mt. Baldy League.

  1. Kaiser (0-1) – No shame in loss to San Gorgonio. (1)
  2. Monrovia (2-0) – Defense keyed victory against Bonita. (4)
  3. Colony (1-1) – Colony couldn’t repeat victory over Poly-Riverside in quarter-finals last season. (2)
  4. Glendora (1-0) – Took a half to shake of rust of offseason for Tartans to beat Alta Loma. (5)
  5. Diamond Bar (2-0) – May put up another 40 spot against Brea Olinda this week. (9)
  6. San Marino (2-0) – Can’t ignore lightning strike offense that Titans have. (7)
  7. Charter Oak (0-2) – Tough pre-season schedule has Chargers looking for answers. (3)
  8. West Covina (1-1) – Nice bounce back against LB Wilson, get a better barometer against embarrassed South Hills squad. (10)
  9. Diamond Ranch (2-0) – Win to Nogales looks a little better after Rosemead win. (NR)
  10. Chaffey (2-0) – Tigers best start to the season since 2009. (NR)

Others receiving consideration: Los Altos (1-1), Montclair (2-0), La Canada (2-0)
