The Knights are challenging for a top five spot.

Only one change in the top ten this week as Paraclete jump over Northview to take the #4 spot. All teams with the exception of Northview did what they needed to do…win! The teams that didn’t win were on bye. Things might shake up a little more next week as teams get into league play.

1.  Sierra Canyon (4-0) Took the week off but at date with Nordhoff is looming on the horizon.

2. San Dimas (3-1) The Saints are rested after the bye and itching to bring home the Smudge Pot.

3. Viewpoint (4-0) The Patriots won’t see much resistance until Halloween when they face Sierra Canyon.

4. Paraclete (3-2) The Spirits will need to shore up the passing game but still looking good in the Mid Valley.

5. Northview (4-1) The loss to 1-3 La Sierra hurt and rumor has it the score could have been more lopsided if not for dropped passes by La Sierra.

6. Arroyo (4-1) Will the Knights be challenged in the Mission Valley this year? If Rosemead doesn’t this week, then it won’t happen.

7. Pomona (3-2) The blowout of Montclair was expected and have one more tuneup before Miramonte League action.

8. Bassett (3-2) Not a whole lot can be gleaned by the bashing of Sierra Vista who have given up 153 points in four games.

9. Gabrielino (2-2) 54-0 win over 0-5 Marshall not much of a head turner.

10. La Puente (3-2) The Warrior offense is clicking putting out 42.6 points per game. Erick Morales 1058-yards and 15 scores leads the Miramonte League.

In the mix: Covina (2-2) Rowland (2-2) Ganesha (3-2)
