1.  The Kansas City Royals beat the Angels 8-3 and complete the series sweep and end the Angels season.

2.  Terrell Watson rushes for 256-yards and two scores in APU’s 27-20 win on the road over Central Washington. Watson rushed for 199 first half yards breaking the previous first half Cougar record of 197 by Christian Okoye.

3.  The Orioles sweep the Detroit Tigers and set the two teams for the ALCS.

4.  Payton Manning threw his 500th career touchdown pass in Sunday’s win over Arizona.

5.  Former Indianapolis Colt head coach and current NBC football analyst Tony Dungy turns 59 today.

6.  APU vs. undefeated Humboldt State Thursday night at 6:00 pm at Citrus College.

7.  ESPN and TNT retained the rights to broadcast NBA games for the next nine years at a price tag reported to be in excess of $2.5 billion.

8.  On this day in 1963 the Dodgers swept the New York Yankees in the 60th World Series.
