1.) Central Division: Palomares League powers collide when Glendora (5-1, 1-0) faces Ayala (5-1, 1-0). In the last ten years these schools have met eight times, the Tartans have won seven of them.

2.) Mid Valley Division: Mid Valley League shootout at Jack Barton Stadium when South El Monte (2-4, 2-0) squares up against El Monte (3-4, 2-1).

3.) Southeast Division: Angelus League top dogs face off for league and division top seed when St.Francis (6-0) travels to Cathedral (6-0).

4.) Giants advance to third World Series in five years with a walk off homerun by Travis Ishikawa off the Cards Michael Wacha.
