1.  APU’s Terrell Watson’s 198-yards and five touchdowns Saturday night against Dixie State gives him 1,279 yards and 17 scores. The 1,279 yards leads all NCAA divisions in rushing.

2.  The Rams’ Stedman Bailey scores on a punt return set up by Tavon Austin selling everyone including the Ram’s play-by-play announcers that he was going to receive the punt.

3.  Payton Manning breaks Brett Favre’s career touchdown mark with an eight yard pass to Demaryius Thomas with 3:09 remaining in the first half of Sunday night’s game against San Francisco.

4.  Jim Brown set a then single season rushing record of 1,863 -yards in 14 games on this day in 1963.

5.  Former New York Met first baseman Keith Hernandez turns 61 today.

6.  Cody Kessler breaks Matt Barkley’s single game touchdown record by throwing for seven against Colorado Saturday.

7.  Los Altos at West Covina Friday night at 7:00.

8.  On this day in 1988 the Dodgers’ Orel Hershiser pitched a complete game and the Dodgers beat the Oakland A’s 5-2 to win the World Series.

9.  Brentwood’s Eli Stern threw for 194-yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 98 and another two scores in the Eagles’ win over Viewpoint.
