Who will replace Felipe Aguilar as the Los Altos HC?

Who will replace Felipe Aguilar as the Los Altos HC?

Good Evening!

Whittier Christian… Bah! Humbug!

Welcome to The Mid, Cal Condor football fans…I’m here to admit it…Before you found this site, I was the guy that picked against you…I thought you didn’t have enough firepower and I didn’t think Terris Jones would hold up over ten games…I was wrong… But I am going to need some convincing about Burbank…

This just in: The Chicago Bears have offered Matt Koffler their starting quarterback position…

Valley Christian isn’t a bad team, they are a good team, but San Dimas should be able to run on them…And if you let the Saints run it will be church for the Crusaders…

I think I’ve figured out tonight that I’m anti-Vince Young because of the Rose Bowl against USC, not because he cried and wimped out in the season opener in 2008…He actually looked solid tonight, but then again it was the Texans…

On the other hand…Brian Cushing looked awesome…

Two years ago tonight Bishop Diego went to Temple City and crushed the Rams 45-0…Matt Haggard completed 14 of 20 for 189-yards and touchdown but Monrovia still fell to Paraclete 23-20…Valley Christian shut down Blair 34-24… Charter Oak got two touchdown passes from Chris Allen, Kanaan Snowden rushed for 130-yards, and sophomore Adam Muema scored on a 69-yard run in the Chargers 40-21 victory over West Covina…Matt Davis scored twice for the Condors as Cal beat South El Monte 34-21…and South Hills’ Cameron Deen threw three touchdown passes in the Huskies 41-17 blasting of Foothill…

With all of the playoff stuff going on Felipe Aguilar’s departure as Los Altos HC went under the radar…I’m a little sad about that…I would have liked to have seen a third year…But then again doesn’t the guy following the legend (in this case Greg Gano) always take a tumble? Gene Bartow at UCLA being a classic example…Plus things have changed…everyone knows it…by hook or crook the right talent always used to show up at Los Altos…not anymore… The next guy hired (Ted Clarke?) needs to be given four years of peace to establish himself…

Los Altos Continued: Take a look at Burbank…Do you know why they hadn’t won a playoff game in 80 years until last season? Because they changed coaches faster than a football fan changes channels from his couch on game day…Do you remember the in and out, and co-coaching mess at Muir after Brownfield’s departure…A program takes trust and trust takes time…It will be a while before the Conquerors are playing in the Home Depot Center again…

“We’ll be back to work on Monday,” says His Arroyo Baldness.

Note From Matt Koffler to Ryan Maddox: “Dude, watch out for the punt returns.”

“Veni, Lumen Cordium” is the motto at Paraclete. It means; “Come, Light of the Heart.”

When Monrovia hits the field Friday night at Knight Stadium, they better have dark hearts. The Spirits always, always find a way.

Two Mid Valley staffers have told me not to take Baldwin Park over Whittier Christian (Bah! Humbug!)… Sorry, but I got a feeling about the Braves this season…And when they win I will out the staffers…

To please the baseball people among us…It was nice to see Minnesota Twins catcher Joe Mauer when the American League MVP…Perhaps now people will stop comparing him to Butch Wynegar.

Anyone want to make a donation for my drive to Paraclete on Friday night…I could really use a hotel room with internet access…and cable of course…

Stay thirsty my friends…
