El Monte (6-4, MVL #2) at Azusa (7-3, Montview #1)

Both played well to end the regular season. It will be close but the Lions speed should prevail.

Brentwood (8-2, Gold Coast at-large) at Northview (9-1, Valle Vista #1) at Charter Oak High School

The Vikings physicality will overwhelm the Eagles and Northview wins going away.

A nice season for the Olympians ends with a long drive to Lancaster.

La Puente (7-3, Miramonte #2) at Montebello (5-5, Almont #1)

One of the more even matchups in the first round of the Mid Valley Division with the edge to Montebello at home.

McAuliffe (4-5, Gold Coast at-large) at Pomona (6-4, Miramonte #1)

The only question is will the Red Devils call off the dogs and keep the score under 100.

Pomona 60 McAuliffe 6

Baldwin Park (6-4, Montview #2) at San Dimas (7-3, Valle Vista #2)

A solid first year under first year Head Coach Daniel Al Gattas comes to an end at the hands of the Saints.

San Dimas 42 Baldwin Park 17

Covina (6-4, Valle Vista at-large) at Rosemead (6-4, MVL #1)

Two very physical teams will trade a lot of paint in the trenches. The Panthers at home will do just enough to get the W.

Rosemead 24 Covina 21

Bell Gardens (4-6, Almont #2) at Sierra Canyon (9-1, Gold Coast #2) at Grenada Hills High School.

The difference in the score will be if Kohl Hollinquest is healthy enough to play. If not it’s still the Trailblazers by two scores.
