1.  St. Louis Rams’ owner Stan Kroenke is planning on building an 80,000 seat football stadium on 60 acres of land between the Forum and Hollywood park in Inglewood.

2.  Duarte’s Joshua Dorsey is averaging 21.2 points and 19.3 rebounds a game for the Falcons.

3.  Legendary sportscaster Stuart Scott passes away Sunday at the age of 49 after a long battle with cancer.

4.  APU’s Kelly Hardeman and Robert Sandoval each reached the 1,000 point milestone Saturday in the Cougar’s wins over Holy Names University.

5.  Maranatha vs. Diamond Ranch tonight at 7:00 pm at Roybal High School in the Huntington Park Tournament.

6.  Pistol Pete Maravich passed away at the age of 40 from heart failure during a pick-up game in the gym at Pasadena First Church of the Nazarene on this day in 1988.

7.  Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard is rumored to be joining the L.A. Galaxy at the end of the 2014  English Premier League season.

8.  On this day in 1957 the Dodgers’ Jackie Robinson retires rather than be traded to the Yankees.

9.  The Dodgers sign Brett Anderson to a one-year $10 million contract and designate Erisbel Arruebarrena for assignment less than a year after signing him to a five-year $25 million contract.
