(Montebello) – David Ramos, who was the head coach at Bell Gardens for 13 years, was officially named the HC at Schurr Monday multiple sources confirmed.
Ramos had been rumored to be the new HC since Marco Ramirez stepped down January 23. Ramos resigned at Schurr’s Almont League rival Bell Gardens in 2013 after a 13 year run. He spent the last two years as an assistant at St. Paul. Last year the Spartans finished 4-6 overall. In Ramos’ final year at Bell Gardens in 2012, the Lancers went 8-3 overall and 5-0 in league.
Ramos will now begin putting together his staff.
