1.  Maranatha will host St. Genevieve tomorrow night in the quarterfinals of the CIF Division 4A Basketball Playoffs.

2.  The Los Angeles Kings are 7-3 in their last ten games and have won seven straight.

3.  Gabrielino will take on Beverly Hills at home tomorrow night at 7:00 pm in the CIF Division 3A Playoffs.

4.  LeBron James passed Allen Iverson to #22 on the NBA’s all time scoring list in Cleveland’s 101-83 win over the Knicks on Sunday.

5.  Former Dallas Cowboy defensive lineman Ed “Too Tall” Jones turns 64 today.

6.  The San Diego Chargers sign left tackle King Dunlap to a a four-year, $28 million contract.

7.  Vince Lombardi’s “West Point” sweater was bought for .58 cents last year at a Goodwill store. Saturday, it was auctioned off for $43,020.

8.  On this day in 1968 Wilt Chamberlain becomes the first player in NBA history to score 25,000 points.

9.  The Dodgers signed injury prone Dustin McGowan to a one year contract at the league minimum with bonuses for making the 25-man roster.
