(Santa Ana) – The LA KISS held their final open tryouts for the 2015 season Saturday at Santa Ana College. The majority of the roster is set but the KISS is still looking to fill a couple of key spots.

“We found A.J. Cruz and Sam Campbell at open tryouts. So we feel we can definitely find players that can help us,” said head coach Bob McMillen.

The turnout of players included a familiar face. Former Schurr quarterback Aaron Cantu, who went on to play at Southern Utah, was on hand to run through the drills.

The KISS finished 3-15 last year in their first season and is looking to turn things around. The roster has been nearly completely overhauled. Camp opens March 11 at Santa Ana College with a scrimmage scheduled for March 19 against San Jose at the Honda Center. The regular season opener is March 27 at Portland. The home opener is April 11 against the Las Vegas Outlaws.
