1.  The APU Men’s basketball team ended up tied atop the PacWest Conference with Dixie State. The tiebreaker gave the #1 seed in the tournament to Dixie State. The Cougars still earned a first round bye and will play Friday afternoon at 4:15 against the winner of the Cal Baptist, Hawaii Pacific match-up.

2.  Maranatha will play Campbell Hall in the finals of the CIFSS Division 4A Basketball Playoffs. Game time and location will be announced at 2:00pm today.

3.  The MLS and the MLS Players Union are working on a new collective bargaining agreement to avoid a delay in the start of  the 2015 MLS season.

4.  Wilt Chamberlain recorded is record 100 point game against the New York Knicks on this day in 1962.

5.  The APU Women’s basketball team earned the fourth seed in he PacWest Tournament and will play Thursday at 1:45 pm at Concordia University against Academy of Art.

6.  Former USC, and most recent Detroit Lion running back Reggie Bush turns 30 today.

7.  Michael Jordan made Forbes list of riches people in the world at #1,741 with an estimated net worth of $1 Billion.

8.  On this day in 1927 Babe Ruth becomes the highest paid player in Major League Baseball at $70,000 a year.

9.  The Detroit Lions do not franchise tag Ndamukong Suh and he will become an unrestricted free agent if the Lions do not sign him to a new contract by March 10.
