(Pico Rivera) – El Rancho HC Vinnie Lopez has been named 2014 National Football Foundation Coach of the Year. The Dons won the Del Rio League last year with a perfect 5-0 record and went 8-3 overall.
El Rancho had big victories over La Serna and Cal on its way to the league title. The Dons fell in the first round of the playoffs to Burbank.
