1. Duke wins their fifth NCAA Championship after defeating Wisconsin, 68-63.

2. Kings lose to Vancouver 2-1 in a shootout and must win two of their last three games to get into the playoffs.

3. Jimmy Rollins hits GW Home run against San Diego in Dodgers home opener win.

4. Bonita’s Brandon Bradshaw is batting .417 and is second on the team with nine RBI’s

5. Mike Trout has hit back to back opening day homers against Seattle’s Felix Hernandez.

6. Montebello baseball is atop the Almont League at 4-0 and face Alhambra today with first place on the line.

7. Clippers trying to hand Lakers back to back losses tonight

8.  Sonny Gray took a no-hit bid into the eighth inning against Texas. A’s win 8-0.

9. Elias Sports Bureau reports that this is the first time six teams posted a shutout in their season opener.
