1. Walnut knocks off San Dimas 4-1 in the Division 3 semi finals to end the Saints 31 game win streak.

2. FIFA President Sepp Blatter steps down amid corruption scandal.

3. Duarte names Ryan Marcos new head baseball coach.

4. The Carolina Panthers sign Cam Newton to a five-year, $103.8 million extension.

5. Golden State’s Klay Thompson is cleared to play in Game One of the NBA Finals after suffering a concussion.

6. The Chicago Bulls are set to hire Iowa State HC Fred Hoiberg as their new head coach.

7. The 605 All-Star Game: Friday Night at Cerritos College, 7:00 pm.

8. Alex Guerrero hits a grand slam with two out in the top of the ninth to give the Dodgers a 9-8 win over the Rockies. Joc Pederson hits a home run earlier in the game that is measured at 472 feet.

9. The Texas Rangers top prospect Joey Gallo makes his major league debut and has three hits including a home run and a double with three RBI and four runs scored.

10. Mission Viejo knocks off Crescenta Valley 4-2 in the CIF Division 2 semi finals.
