Crescenta Valley Ends Arcadia’s Undefeated Run

By Tim Peterson (Arcadia) – Crescenta Valley scored two runs in the top of the second inning and it proved to be enough as the Falcons beat Arcadia 2-1 to end the Apaches perfect 23-game run Tuesday night at Giambrone Field.

St. Francis Officially Names Milam

By Corey Kwok (La Canada) – Aaron Milam has been officially named the head coach of the St. Francis baseball program, the school announced today. Milam has been a longtime assistant at St. Francis first serving under Alemany assistant and AD Mike Solar.

Mid-Valley Baseball Top 20

Bonita and Mayfair finish off perfect league runs while Crescenta Valley and Nogales get hot late to win their league titles. Alhambra holds on to win the Almont while Temple City beats Monrovia on the final day to win the Rio Hondo. Cal and La Puente survive to win the Del Rio and the Montview respectively. Playoff pairings will be announced Monday.
