(South El Monte) – Running back Marcos Lopez has transferred out of South El Monte Eagle Head Coach Frank Gallardo confirmed Monday.
“He officially transferred out last Wednesday. I wish him the best of luck,” Gallardo said.
Lopez rushed for 818 yards and 13 touchdowns last year as a junior. At this time his destination is unknown although word is he could land at Cathedral. Monrovia running back Kameron Johnson transferred to Cathedral earlier this year.
