Galaxy Rocked by Quakes

(San Jose) – San Jose scored two goals in the second half to break the tie and went on to beat the Galaxy 3-1 Saturday night in San Jose.

Juninho scored first for LA in the 17th minute with a 30 yard blast but Chris Wondolowski tied it 11 minutes later off of a cross pass. Clarence Goodson gave the Earthquakes the lead for good with a goal in the 53rd minute. Cordell Cato capped the scoring with a shot past LA goalkeeper Jaime Penedo in the 72nd.

The Galaxy dropped to 7-6-7 with the defeat. while the Quakes improved to 7-5-4.
