KISS Can’t Stand the Arizona Heat

The LA KISS fell behind 34-0 in the first half and were never able to recover in a 68-55 loss to the Arizona Rattlers Sunday in Arizona.

Josh Victorian picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown as the first half ended for the KISS’ first score to make it 34-7 at halftime. In the second half the KISS scored on their first two possessions and cut it to 34-21, but they were never able to get within two scores the rest of the way.

Tyrone Goard caught three touchdown passes from Danny Southwick including the last one in which he hauled it in and then disappeared over the wall for the catch of the game. Donovan Morgan and DeMarco Sampson also caught two TD strikes each from Southwick.

With the loss, the KISS falls to 4-12 while the first place Rattlers improve to 13-3.
