Mid Valley Top 20 – Girls Basketball: December 20,2009

With three weeks into the 2009-10 Girls Basketball season here is the Top 20 as of December 20, 2009.

1.  Diamond Ranch (8-0) – Panthers have two tournament championships this season.

2.  Bishop Amat (9-0) – Lancers are deep and can morph into any offense you allow them to play.

3.  La Canada (8-1) – Lady Spartans only blemish is to talented Bishop Amat Squad.

4.  Crescenta Valley (7-1) – Falcons won their own tournament to begin season.

5.  Bonita (9-0) – Bearcats start the season with a Covina Classic title.

6.  Crescenta Valley (7-1) – Falcons won their own tournament to begin season.

7.  Muir (0-4) – Mustangs rebuilding, but will be ready for league.

8.  Walnut (7-2) – No shame in losses to Corona Centennial and Sonora.

9.  South Hills (5-2) – Huskies will challenge for San Antonio league title.

10.  La Salle (7-1) – Three-points away from being perfect on the season.

11.  West Covina (6-4) – Bulldogs will have something to say about San Antonio league.

12.  Covina (6-4) – Tough loss to Alhambra on Wednesday.

13.  Valley Christian (6-1) – Crusaders are having a nice start to the year.

14.  Glendora (6-2) – Tartans are off to good start.

15.  Alhambra (4-2) – Might make some noise in Almont.

16.  Whittier Christian (5-3) – Heralds will give teams fits.

17.  Baldwin Park (4-2) – Braves beating teams they should.

18.  Northview (5-4) – Vikings will be tough come Valle Vista league.

19.  Sierra Vista (4-3) – Coach Keith Locklear has done a great job with the Lady Dons.

20.  South Pasadena (8-6) – Tigers started the season 7-1.
