2.) Arcadia football alum Shaun Roos turns 25 today.

Mitchell and Smith were once teammates with the Carolina Panthers.

4.) On this date in 1963 the Dodgers Sandy Koufax strikes out 15 Yankees in a World Series game. Dodgers sweep the series 4-0.

5.) On this date in 2008 Duarte’s Jordan Canada rushed for 263 yards and four touchdowns in the Falcons 55-39 victory over Sierra Vista.

8.) Los Angeles Kings left winger Dustin Brown is in his 12th NHL season. All of them with the Kings.

9.) Through five games San Marino’s J.P. Shohfi has caught 38 passes for 831 yards and 11 touchdowns. Teammate Aidan Santino has caught 33 passes for 11 touchdowns and 774 yards.
