Mid Valley Division Top Ten: 9/30/2015

Paraclete showed everyone why they still have to be considered in the top tier of the Mid Valley Division crushing previously unbeaten Montebello. Montebello drops a couple spots but still is solid at 4-1 and Bell Gardens drops after another dismal offensive performance against Claremont. For the most part the rest of the top ten won and remained where they were.

1. Sierra Canyon (5-0 0-0) – Another week, another victory for the Traiblazers. Bigger test this week on the road at Nordoff.
2. Paraclete (2-3, 0-0) – The Spirits showed the rest of the Mid Valley Division that their record was deceiving pasting Montebello 58-21.
3. Northview (4-1, 0-0) – The Vikings were shown little resistance last week against La Sierra and will need to guard against complacency once they take care of Rowland this week.
4. Montebello (4-1, 0-0) – The beating the Oilers took at the hands of Paraclete served notice to the Montebello faithful there’s more work to be done.
5. Bell Gardens (3-2, -0) – The MUSD Police department has sent out an APB on the missing Lancer offense. The bye week is coming at the right time.
6. San Dimas (2-2, 0-0) – A mystery is beginning to evolve around the Saint offense which at times looks really good and at others…not so much.
7. Pomona (3-2, 0-0) – Christopher Jackson has emerged as the top receiver for the Red Devils who get one more tune-up Santa Monica before Miramonte League play.
8. Covina (2-2, 0-0) – The lopsided win over Azusa keeps the Colts at #8 and will get tested Friday by a Bassett team looking to bust into the top ten.
9. Arroyo (3-2, 0-0) – A 47-0 win is nice but hard to hand out too much credit for it as it was against a winless South El Monte squad.
10. Viewpoint (3-2, 0-0) – The Patriots were less than cordial hosts to La Puente to remain in the ten spot and can’t sleep on Brentwood this week.
