Northwest Division Game Night: Week Six

All games are 7:00 p.m. Unless otherwise indicated

Friday, October 9

AMBASSADOR
Notre Dame/Riverside (5-0) at Arrowhead Christian (2-3)
When the AC was turned on high a year ago this would have been a great game. But a good chunk of the Mowbray family has moved on and the Titans are gearing up for a showdown against LC.
Notre Dame/Riverside: 48-13

Aquinas (3-2) at Linfield Christian (5-0)
What the Falcons need to do is stay healthy for Ontario Christian. The Lions take this the moment they come out of the locker room. Aquinas is not a horrible team, they’re just not LC.
Linfield Christian: 56-12

DE ANZA
Desert Hot Springs (5-1) at Rancho Mirage (4-2)
Don’t let the records deceive you. The Rattlers are the superior team and will prove they why they have second place in the De Anza locked up.
Rancho Mirage: 34-8

29Palms (5-0) vs Shadow Hills (2-3) at Twentynine Palms JHS
The 29ers are making life in the desert prosper. The Knights have been a disappointment. They’ll get it together, but not this week.
29Palms: 45-14

OLYMPIC
Whittier Christian (3-3) at Maranatha (3-3)
There have been some great games in this rivalry. This is a contest where the non-moving offense goes against the non-stopping defense. Low scoring Natha wins. High scoring WC wins…What happens?
Maranatha: 42-21

Village Christian (4-2) at Valley Christian (4-2)
First week of league play and the Olympic title is on the line. Village has played better than people thought, Valley is good, which means Valley should roll.
Valley Christian: 38-12

NORTHERN
Templeton (4-2) at Mission Prep (3-2)
The Eagles have the better record, the Royals have played the better teams. Go with MP in less of a nailbiter as most would think.
Mission Prep: 28-16

SOUTH CATHOLIC
Non-League
Bosco Tech (1-4) at Bishop Montgomery (4-1)
What this game does if give you a clear indication of how bad Cantwell has become. The Tigers beat Cantwell 36-14 and CalPreps lists the Knights as a 61-0 favorite over Tech. Call in FEMA because this is going to be a disaster.
Bishop Montgomery: 72-0 (52-0 if there is no debate about when the running clock starts.-
