Game Night Central Division: Week Seven

(All game times 7:00 p.m. unless otherwise indicated.)

RIO HONDO
Temple City (0-1, 2-4) at La Canada (0-1, 2-4)
If TC loses this game then South Pas secures its first playoff spot since 2003. There is the possibility the Rams could beat the Tigers in Week Ten, but if they can’t beat the Spartans in Week Seven forget about it. This game is a toss up, the Rams have more to play for. The Rams pull it out.
Temple City: 18-12

Monrovia (1-0, 4-2) at San Marino (1-0, 6-0)
Think of the goodies that are on the line for the Titans? Snapping a decade plus losing streak against the Wildcats, getting a leg up on its first league title in the 21st century, and more importantly a home game in the first round of the playoffs. That’s a lot, but it won’t be a blowout.
San Marino: 38-31

MT. BALDY
Chaffey (1-0, 6-0) at Don Lugo (1-0, 2-4)
Mikey Dean versus Dane Ford…The Conquistadors are much better and the Tigers, with respect, are not as good as their record would indicate. Go with Don Lugo in a surprise.
Don Lugo: 24-22

Ontario (0-1, 4-2) at Colony (1-0, 3-3)
The Titans roll here. They are looking to stay healthy and stay on track for late league dates with Don Lugo and Chaffey. This is a rout.
Colony: 58-7

PALOMARES
Glendora (1-0, 5-1) at Bonita (0-1, 5-1)
The Bearcats missed an opportunity last week and a loss Friday night could be devastating in terms of the Palomares. Tartans quarterback Matt Fink is good, but his legs are better and dangerous. Bonita needs to keep him contained and make him do it with his arm.
Bonita: 32-24

Ayala (1-0, 2-4) at Claremont (1-0, 6-0)
First year Wolfpack HC Coco Jarin has given his team an edge they didn’t seem to have a year ago. They’ve been improving and should handle a decent Bulldogs team. Important thing for Claremont is to not get caught looking past Ayala
Claremont: 28-16

HACIENDA
Diamond Ranch (1-0, 5-1) at Charter Oak (1-0, 5-1)
The Panthers are playing great, they’ve exceeded expectations, and now the clock is about to strike midnight. The Chargers have played well before, they’ve been 5-1 before, they’re playing for another championship. These two teams have met seven times, including back-to-back CIF finals in 2008 and 2009, and CO has won them all.
Charter Oak: 45-7

Los Altos (1-0, 4-2) at Chino (0-1, 5-1)
Whatever happens this game will be over quick. Halftime by 7:30, fourth quarter by 8:00, and interviewing Jesse Ceniceros by 8:20. Of course it will be derailed if the dreaded “homecoming” scheduled. The Conqs are good, the Cowboys are better.
Chino: 27-19
