(Montebello) – Schurr racked up 432 yards in total offense in a 41-0 rout of Alhambra Friday night in Almont League action.
Lance Babb caught touchdown passes of 35 and 50 yards from Miguel Aguero and Efren Velez rushed for 111 yards and three scores. Aguero was 8 of 12 for 196 yards and two scores without an interception.
Alhambra managed just 146 yards in total offense with Joe Santana running for 52 yards on 21 carries. Julio Garcia and Dominic Wilson combined for just 2 of 8 passing.
Schurr improved to 3-1 in league while Alhambra fell to 2-2. The Spartans are in second place – a game behind Montebello.
