Chris Stevens makes the move from Monrovia to Chino Hills

Chris Stevens has resigned at Monrovia to take the head coaching position at Chino Hills Monrovia AD Randy Bell confirmed Monday. 

The Wildcats went 18-6 under Stevens the last two years, advancing to the second round of the Central Division playoffs each time.

He replaces Matt Bechtel who left CH for South Hills earlier this winter. Bechtel went 25-10 for the Huskies, advancing to the semifinals in 2015. Bell said the search for a head coach will begin immediately.

    @”Green” Jesus, you’re just some armchair QB.l saying you could do it but don’t want to teach. Why not go and be an assistant then? Wait, now you’re going to say you cant go to practice. Bottom line is, you’re like the rest of the world, you like to act like you know what you’re talking about but have never worked a day as a football coach. I’m sure you think you could have done a better job than Stevens. Please elaborate, tell us how you would block a bear front when running power. Or what is the quarterback reading when receivers are running a smash route? Or tell me what you prefer linebackers to key and why. SMH at guys who think they know it all. I don’t coach and I respect the guys who do because they’re putting their butts on the line and bloggers complain about it

    He has 3 plays.
