(Azusa) – Hector Spathias, who was introduced as the head coach at Gladstone on March 14, is now out as HC sources confirmed late Monday.
Spathias, who guided Bassett to a 6-5 overall record and a playoff berth last season, spent four years as the Olympians head coach. He was named head coach at Gladstone and introduced to the players three weeks ago. At this time it is not known the exact reasons why Spathias has been dismissed. Gladstone has listed the opening for a varsity head football coach on the CIF website.
