1. TNT’s Craig Sager receives the Jimmy V award. Sager, who has been battling leukemia for several years, said “I will never give up and I will never give in.”

2. Shane Doan will return for his 21st season after signing a one-year deal with the Arizona Coyotes. Doan has played his entire career with the franchise.

3. Bell Gardens, Schurr and Duarte are throwing at Arroyo today.

4. USC point guard Jordan McClaughlin is playing with a PAC 12 Conference All-Star team in the summer that will include a three-game tour of Australia.

5. The Los Angeles Rams entire allotment of 70,000 season tickets have been sold out for the 2016 campaign. Sale of single-game tickets will begin this week.

6. Cleveland Browns starting defensive end Desmond Bryant tore a pectoral muscle last week lifting weights and is likely out for the entire 2016 season.

7. LA KISS receiver Donovan “Captain” Morgan has scored two or more touchdowns in 16 straight games going back to last season.

9. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s Deflategate appeal denied by 2nd U.S Circuit court.

10. Former major leaguer and current Chicago White Sox manager Robin Ventura turns 49 today.
