Pasadena Routs Hoover 69-35

(Pasadena) – Pasadena turned it on after the first quarter outscoring Hoover 43-15 over the next two frames en route to a 69-35 rout Monday night in Pacific league play.

  Tyler Barber led the way with 16 points, swishing both tries from outside the arc. Freshman post Brandon Jolley collected two steals, five rebounds, and scored a dozen. Nick Holden (6 points) had seven boards and Chris Bridges added seven points and recorded three steals.

  Pasadena out rebounded Hoover 36-19 and held its opponent to 7 caroms in the first half.

  George Toyama put in another 3 for 3 from downtown for 11 points. Kameron Burch came off the bench and lit up the floor on back to back possessions with a deuce and trey. The Bulldogs made 7 of 9 threes overall.

  Hoover was led by Narek Abcarian who scored 14 points and dished out 5 assists. Sevada Minassians had 9 points and Samson Injigulyan had 4 points and also tallied 6 boards, 3 steals, and a dish.
