Moors Brush Aside Keppel

(Alhambra) – Alhambra racked up 492 yards in total offense in a 68-18 rout of Keppel Friday night in the Aztecs home field.

Salman Gurung rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns and Lu-Ring Paialii had seven carries for 83 yards and a pair of scores. Andrew Uzueta added 97 yards and a touchdown on eight carries.

Julien Garcia tossed a 56-yard TD pass to Dominic Wilson for the Moors first score of the game and Alhambra rolled the rest of the way.

Keppel managed 153 yards overall – 154 passing and -1 on the ground. Matthew Baptista completed five of 18 for 123 yards and two touchdowns and receiver Kobe To had three catches for 105 yards and two scores.

The 18 points for the Aztecs were the first points they had scored since they got eight in the season opener.

Alhambra improved to 5-4 overall (3-1 in the Almont League) while Keppel dropped to 0-8.
