(West Covina HC Mike Maggiore recently read and gives a short review of Joe Torosian’s high school football novel “Tangent Dreams.”)

Joe Torosian has been one of the very best at covering high school football in the San Gabriel Valley for a long time. He has asked the right questions and his observations have almost always been spot on.

In his first book Tangent Dreams, Joe captures the essence of high school football and does it with a local flavor that makes this book especially interesting. As a high school coach, I completely relate to the characters in his book and the situations they are in. Joe Torosian puts his knowledge and experiences together into a great first book. If you like high school football, you will enjoy Tangent Dreams, I highly recommend it!
