4. Arrogate scratched from San Pasqual after rains made track surface muddy. Will train toward Pegasus Stakes on January 28.
5. Duke assistant Jeff Capel will run team while Coach K is recuperating from back surgery beginning on Friday evening.
6. Conference records during Bowl season, MAC (0-6), AAC (2-5), Big Ten (3-7), Pac-12 (3-3), SEC (6-6), Conference USA (4-3), Sun Belt (4-2), Big 12 (4-2), ACC (8-3).

    *10: It was a wonderful game but it was meaningless. Its like winning the NIT tournament. It’s like winning an All Star football game. It’s like being awarded a championship title a year after you lost because the other team cheated. All meaningless but they were great games.
