    @bohi
    It all starts at the top. It is not the parents, it’s the administration. You guys got new administrators and they made some bad coaching hires. Football is the most important sport to start the school year and your administrators miss the boat on that hire. I remember when Bonita was the jewel of the valley. I hope it gets better, maybe it’s time for a change.

    Congrats Pasadena. A frustrated side note. I can’t help but think that football success at the start of the school year breeds success. Only a couple of years ago all our teams at Bohi were flourishing. Now, not so much. Basketball both highly rated teams at the out set, dumped,football awful,soccer ugh, all with poor student body support. But we still have plenty of helicopter family getting in the middle. Maybe we should have out teams made up of the mommies and daddies and let them coach themselves. Ketterling where are you?

    @solid stuff to bad your team didn’t even make it to the playoffs,to bad your only chance to take a shot at one school is to ride the success of another since it can’t be your own school haha..

    Pasadena had a first round bye, beat Beaumont after an 11 day layoff. The road is not easy, but the Bulldogs are after their 12 CIF finals appearance and 6th CIF ring.

    Winning two rounds of CIF basketball is great, and I congratulate the Dogs on this count. Too bad the Gabrielino team was unable to savor even one win, but such are the rigors of CIF championship competition.
