(Pasadena) – Jeff Cole was named the new head coach at Marshall earlier this month sources confirmed Wednesday.
There were rumors earlier this year that Marshall was considering dropping football but now the Eagles will field a football team at not only the varsity level but a lower level as well.
The Eagles went 6-4 overall last year and 3-3 in the Mission Valley League including a win over Rosemead in the season finale. Cole takes over for Scott Faer, who stepped down after the season.
@nwo sg is waiting for board approval
The Marshall kids need love too!!
Welcome aboard coach. Best of luck to you.
Pretty sad that SG doesn’t have a coach (former Matador)
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Marshall football. Coach Cole, “You da Man”
Interesting that the school thought of ending the football program after a successful year
I always admired the kids form Marshall , didn’t matter wins or losses, they stuck together till the end, “TEAM!”
