To Annonymous, I am a St. Francis Grad and I follow The Angelus league. I am proud when one of our Teams in our league get some headlines. I just want to know Annoymous since your a Cathedral Grad, what did they do to you to hate them so much.

It made my day to hear that Cathedral had defeated Mater Dei in the morning round. It obviously makes no difference that the Monarchs were minus their starting QB and star receiver; the Phantoms played Rollinson’s crew tough in a grueling OT triumph that will be remembered well into next week. As for the Times article helping Cathedral, I don’t see the need: the Phantoms are skyrocketing in the area of their greatest achievement: non-contact football.

Nice Article in the LA Times Today featuring Cathedral QB Bryce Young. They are doing a Documentary on Bryce and Cathedral will surely benefit from this. The Phantoms Defeated Edison Tournament Champ Mater Dei in The Morning.

I agree that the D1 placements coming out of Cathedral, along with the passing tournament triumphs, are just about all that’s needed to cement that school’s position of dominance. Who needs CIF titles anyway?

Jesus who is transferring out of Monrovia? Nobody! The 10th string non qb that was kicked off the team doesn’t count as a transfer out. Coach Chou is great and good luck to who ever lands this FAMILY. Talk about a NIGHTMARE

To Highly Revelant. Sir That’s why Cathedral send 5 Players to D1 College Football school’s. They sent 4 more to D1aa and D2 Schools this past season. Cathedral has 1 Player in The NFL Miami Dolphins and one more coming from Vandervilt Ladarius Wiley SS. If You know anything about The Phantoms they have one of The Best High School QB in The State and nation. Check him out Tommorow morning at 9:30am Mater dei vs, Cathedral at Edison High School.

ANY 7-on-7 event naturally brings to mind the Cathedral Phantoms, because that’s where the purple-clad kids shine. This school has made their name in the passing events, to the point where I’m sure even CIF and State champions bow down before them. If I had a kid, I’d think long and hard about sending him to this place, because I know college scouts place a ton of weight on how football players perform in shorts and t-shirts.

Monrovia only has Washington and the QB isn’t that great and you have kids transferring out plus none of the players respect Chou and coaching staff

Monrovia should come out with this one . Went out to watch them throw with st Paul today and also at the arroyo shootout . They have a stud DB/WR washington and a solid defensive back core . Coaching has gotten better a lot . Looks like Chou us over there putting in work . They also have a stud young running back ” mayes” that is very good and let’s not forget about mr muary rams . I think the cats will beat villa park in the finals
