1. Former Laker Nick Young signs a one-year, $5.2 million deal with the Golden State Warriors.

2. Free agent guard Dion Waiters signs a four-year, $52 million deal to return to the Miami Heat.

3. The Los Angeles Clippers complete a sign and trade deal for Danilo Gallinari. The Denver Nuggets signed Gallinari to a three-year, $65 million deal before trading him to the Clippers. The Clippers then dealt Jamal Crawford, Diamond Stone and a 2018 first round draft pick to Atlanta. The Hawks will send a 2019 second round pick to Denver.

4. The six goals the LA Galaxy allowed Tuesday night matched a franchise record set in a 2009 home loss to Dallas.

5. Colin Kaepernick travels to Ghana to find his “personal independence.”

6. Dodger rookie Cody Bellinger agrees to participate in the Home Run Derby.
