1.The LA Kings win over Chicago made it five straight wins and the Kings now have a four point advantage in the Pacific Division.

2. USC will play Ohio State in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl on December 29th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas.

3. The New York Giants part ways with head coach Ben McAdoo in the midst of a 2-10 season.

4. The NFL has suspended New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski one game for a late hit Sunday on Buffalo cornerback Tre’Davious White.

5. UCLA will take on Kansas State on December 26th in the Cactus Bowl at Chase Field in Phoenix.

6. For anyone who saw Rancho Verde or Cajon High School this post season and are interested, the two teams will face each other in the CIF Division 2-AA Regional Finals Friday night at Rancho Verde High School. Cajon QB Jayden Daniels #’s: 4,641 yards passing, 1,080 yards rushing, 72 total touchdowns.

7. With their 118-95 loss to the Houston Rockets, the Lakers have lost five straight and are 9.5 games back of the Golden State Warriors 23 games into the season.

8. On this day in 1988 the Baltimore Orioles traded 1st baseman Eddie Murray to the Dodgers.

9. The deal to make Aaron Boone the new New York Yankee manager was finalized today. Details of the contract have not been made public other than it is a three year deal with a team option for 2021.

    LaVar Ball said just hours ago that he will withdraw son LiAngelo from UCLA, and shop the kid to other schools. I’d like to suggest Cal State LA as the new home for big burglar; it was where Ball senior honed his world-best skills, so it should naturally be great for the manipulated offspring.
