1. In Sunday’s 43-35 win over the Rams, Carson Wentz went down with a torn ACL and might be done for the season. 

2. In the 39-38 victory over the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger threw for 506 yards becoming the first player in NFL history to have three 500+ yard passing games.

3. Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield was a landslide winner of the 2017 Heisman Trophy with 732 first place votes. Stanford’s Bryce Love was second with 75 and Louisville’s Lamar Jackson was third with 47.

4. 2017 Dodger set up man Brandon Morrow has agreed to a two-year deal with the Chicago Cubs.

5. Toronto FC are the 2017 MLS Cup Champions after beating Seattle Saturday night 2-0.

6. The Yankees will introduce Giancarlo Stanton as the newest member of the team today at a press conference during the winter meetings. The Yankees acquired Stanton for Starlin Castro and a pair of Minor League prospects.

7. With their 3-2 overtime win over Carolina, the Kings have pushed their wining streak to eight games.

8. On this day in 1981 Muhammad Ali had his 61st and last fight losing to Trevor Berbick in a ten round decision.

9. After four games Temple City’s Harry Delpilar Jr. is averaging 20 points per game with 5.5 rebounds and 3.25 assists.

    Narbonne’s destruction of Paraclete 56-14 should have made the The Ten. No one saw that coming.
