1. There will be no 605 All-Star game this year. The next one will be January 25, 2019.

2. Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano is suspended 80 games by MLB after he tested positive for a banned substance.

3. Justin Turner returns to the lineup but the Dodgers lose to the Miami Marlins 4-2 for their fifth straight defeat.

4. The Golden State Warriors beat the Houston Rockets 119-106 in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals Monday night.

5. The Boston Celtics beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 107-94 in Game 2 Tuesday night to take a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.

6. The Phoenix Suns won the number one overall pick in the  NBA draft lottery. The Sacramento Kings will draft second and the Atlanta Hawks third.

7. Former Chicago Bears/Denver Broncos/Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox will join ESPN as an NFL analyst.

8. St. Paul beat Covina 6-5 in a CIF Division 4 Wild Card game Tuesday.

9. On this day in 1985 Michael Jordan was named Rookie of the Year.

    MLB has to toss out these PED user for good. Destroys the game. If you believe Cano did not know the drug he was taking was banned I got a bridge to sell you. I think a lot of these Dominican players are drug users but use modern maskers to beat the system. Cano got caught using a diuretic masking agent. Why baseball has Arod out in front of the camera announcing and yucking it up is sickening.
