1. The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics 87-79 in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. For LeBron James, it’s his eighth straight trip to the NBA Finals.

2. The Golden State Warriors vs. the Houston Rockets in Houston in Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals Monday night at 6:00 p.m. PT.

3. Vegas Golden Knights will battle the Washington Capitals in the Stanley Cup Final. Game 1 Monday night in Las Vegas.

4. Temple City at El Rancho, Tuesday May 29- CIF Baseball Playoff Division 5 Semi Final.

5. Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman, who signed a two-year deal with the Montreal Alouettes in January, decides to retire one week into training camp.

6. MLS expansion team LAFC, is in second place in the Western Conference with a record of 6-3-3.

7. Former Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril said some of his former teammates began questioning head coach Pete Carroll after Seattle’s last minute Super Bowl XLIX loss to the New England Patriots, when Carroll decided to pass instead of giving the ball to Marshawn Lynch.

8. Former Laker great/Hall of Famer/ “The Logo” Jerry West turns 80 today and former Dodger great Kirk Gibson, best known for his game winning home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series against the Oakland A’s turns 61 today.

9. Will Power won the Indianapolis 500 Sunday.
