Mike Shanahan was not paid what was owed to him on his contract when Al Davis fired him. Further, the old man made a point of telling Mike that the Raiders would NEVER pay him another cent, no matter what it cost or how many lawyers he had to employ. Hey, next to Al Davis the Schurr-Montebello commenters seem downright charming.
