We saw the Workman QB play in the Arroyo tournament. He passed the eyeball test, than he started carving us apart. He was not only a good QB but he played a great safety position. Good athlete playing QB. I think he has a chance to play on Saturdays. I don’t know how well he runs the ball but he is a good passer. I know that coaching staff he very knowledgeable so the big kid will get better as the season progresses. I know Workman isn’t a traditional football power so it might be hard for this kid to get looks. I pulling for the kid, great story for Workman.

    Anon,
What exactly is Cal High doing? They beat a crappy schurr team and lost to a good Mayfair team.

Ike is a tremendous young man, football player, student, athlete, leader, and extremely coachable. It’s has been an honor coaching him thus far. He has really progressed and will only get better.

@ JT Earned It: I think that Fred Robledo, Jr.’s primary motivation is to “stir the pot.”
In my experience of watching his high school football podcasts, it seems that Robledo revels in making snarky comments which aren’t necessarily well-informed ones. He has relied too heavily on sarcasm when he should have been providing more substance in his commentaries.

Some pretty ridiculous hot takes on the USC QB situation. If Robledo was actually at USC practices and scrimmages or even read the practice reports from real reporters he would’ve seen just how badly JT Daniels outplayed Matt Fink. Instead of point fingers or pout, Fink has shown more class than Robledo, stating that he will support JT and do everything he can to help the team.

For #8. We’re talking about college football not basketball buddy. There are no 1 and done’s. JT will be balling at USC for 3 years and has a great shot at putting his name atop the record books.
