Hahaha… All mad, too funny. I love it, keep crying. You must really hate Northview huh? I’m sorry, good luck though the rest of the way. Hopefully your team does good in playoffs.
Hows that graduation rate at NV ? Worst test scores and attendance in the district.
Just for the record, none of these postings below are claiming a CIF championship, but it’s the dream. I’ve been reading all the NV hate since 2000, nothing new. We’ll focus on winning league again and then take one game at a time.
Hahaha… somebody’s mad. Sucks to be you, sounds like your school isn’t doing too good. I’m sorry, maybe your school needs to be dropped a few divisions just to compete. Being jealous and mad about another team because your team isnt too good is common in sports. All I can say is good luck the rest of the way. No hard feelings, I understand.
@Anonymous You sound like a bitter ex girlfriend. Are you still mad because your new boyfriend’s team got taken to the woodshed by the boys in black and gold?
It’s ok, this is a safe space. Tell us your story
The only way NV wins a title is if the get dropped to Div 13. Or they buy one. Wait they already tried that. Just goes to show you that you can recruit other schools players but it still doesn’t get you a title. Enjoy your VVL title. It’s the only one you’ll get.
I am a Covina fan,but I know talent and Northview is very talented!!! They do have a shot at winning a cif championship this year, and if they don’t win they are young at the skilled positions where next year could be even better!!!
The Northview San Dimas league closing game will be interesting.
RE the Northview San Marino game (week 2) that game was in doubt until near the end of the game. SM had leads in the first half. re Anonymous in HS football it is nice to be bigger but smaller squads with win if they can play better and avoid injuries to key players.
I will give Northview its due as it was the better team that night but not so much better that with a bounce of the ball, it might not have turned out differently. But I would guess it is too early to order that CIF championship banner for the Northview gym.
CIF polls are coaches polls and Maxpreps/CalPreps is the computer rankings ( Freeman ).
What info is this poll based off? Checking with calpreps socalpreps and maxpreps has Northview at #1 and San Jacinto at #2t though.
From T. Peterson: These are the ones that count though since CIF selects the seeds, playoff pairings, etc.
Northview moved up to number 2 in last weeks poll 10-8-18. This is their 2nd week at Numero Two-o.
This is the week of one of the southland’s greatest rivalries: Warren vs. Downey. Going to one of these games gives you something to talk about for the rest of your life.
Sounds like you can’t get over losing to NV
@anon you might be right, haven’t seen any other team in Northviews division. But where are you getting that Northview doesn’t play well away from CDF? Is it because they lost last year at Millikan?lol… Are you basing it off of that one game? please enlighten everyone on how you came up with that? Or your stats to back that up.
Every team on this list, except Sunny Hills is physically bigger and stronger than NV. Add that to the fact that NV struggles away from CDF and what do get. A 2nd round exit and a l ok ng bbn us ride.
