That is a very bold statement Spat is an excellent coach but best in the SGV I dont think so

Coach Spat is the best coach hands down in the SGV. Los Altos is crying for him to come back and the Rams are calling about him. “Now come inside son and I’ll give you bath and you can have some nice hot cocoa”

Disregard, interpreted the comment wrong. Yeah what you said about the old Workman coaches. Trying to bash in here and take credit for the success going on at WHS..

Spathias was pushed out by Los Altos adminstration. Stop hating on the guy… He went 7-4 with a team that was projected to win 2-3 games last year… Your argument is invalid…. Go get em Workman!

So now the old Workman staff wants to come in and act like they did something for these kids … you abandoned a group of great kids, instead of building the program up and sticking with it. Now that there’s success and a bit of recognition going around you want to come in and take credit for it. Get the heck out of here, you’re a pathetic coach if you’re trying to talk down on a programs success after you parted ways with it. Worry about your season and your new guys.

Fact : Ike is a transfer qb look at his hudl and maxpreps Robles is from Northview the only thing they do well is bring in transfers . How else do you get a 2000 passer and 1000 rusher as a qb drop into d13 Workman and get into the playoffs ,not by coaching up the Workman kids he had. Heard he brought in a couple last year to Workman . How about you coach up some kids who actually go to Workman instead of bringing in your own TRANFERS. Spathias actually coached up his guys that he had.

Fact: Workman beat Azusa 42-40, Nogales beat Workman 48-13. It’s the montview league it’s even everywhere . Workman prob ends up as league champs outright Nogales prob losses the last 2 games cause coach didn’t get to bring in any of his guys. He prob has never cared about any of his kids or did anything for them .

C’mon Mom. What alum follows their old high school coach after he leaves, stops supporting his own school and then hero worships him on the blogs? I guess when you’re still a soccer mom at heart. Don’t humiliate Bassett while doing so. And if I am wrong ID yourself.

@annon/Robles, I see you didn’t answer the question about Azusa. We all know you are your own biggest fan. But your name was not mentioned anywhere on here until you decided to insert yourself. It was all positive towards a program with years of struggles. Now you wanna brag about Nogales like you built that program, last I checked they’re not having the success they’ve been having. Have a good day padding yourself on the back.

You should stop hating with your ignorant comment. I played under Spat & follow him wherever he goes. Success brings out da haters!! Can’t wait for the Lobos to go in the playoffs as a top seed, & dominate D13. Great job coach!!

How did Robles do against Workman this year? 48-13 I’m not saying spat is a bad coach. Workman parents and such are just salty Robles went on to greener pastures.

Workman Admin & parents…You better give this coach all the love & support he needs. The sad thing is nobody stays at ” those types of jobs” It is usually a stepping stone for a “better” job. You need to pretty much give this Man anything he asks for.

Happy for the kids to have a real coach who cares they might actually make the playoffs this year I think the last time was in the early 2000s ! It has been a while since I have heard of them having any type of success . Everywhere Spathias goes he develops programs workman has been nothing . He built this one in one year from nothing no players and now he has a qb who’s putting up crazy numbers to bad he a senior

We are grateful for what this football staff has done to these boys. They are proud to be part of the football program for the first time since I’ve been at the school. They had a great homecoming weekend. We never been so excited at this time of year. These poor boys deserve it for what they have been through. I hope this continues for the next two games.
