@Anonymous, 34-27 taste GREAT! Thank you for retaining coach Helton, we will enjoy another W next year.
@Anonymous
How does it feel getting beat by UCLA, losing to the Irish, Chip Kelly raising the bar for his bruin Athletes;, many who will be returning next season, and keeping a lame duck Clay Helton? I’ll take my 3-9 record over your overrated SC squad.
Even worse it was 5-7!!!
3-9 Ucla beat 5-6 USC, but more importantly Ucla with Chip shows more promise than Usc with Clay. Can you say “dead man walking?”
@UCLA
How’s 3-9 taste…..
Everybody knows that the Clay Helton decision is bad for USC. Problem is, the university has a temporary president and a temporary A.D. Lynn Swan has said explicitly that he’s “not here to make dramatic changes.”
What WILL force the issue with the football program? The drying-up of donations. The school depends on football for the money to run the other sports, and it REALLY, REALLY needs big bucks for the $300 million Coliseum remake. When the bills come due on that stuff, a change will be made. Football doesn’t have to win big for the money to start flowing again, it just has to show some responsiveness to the will of the guys who pay for it all.
Thank you, USC!
If you want to know who the MVP was in the El Rancho-Eisenhower game it was a little girl in tiny pink shoes that looked like socks from the stands.. She was perfect all night long.
Wasn’t it extra holes that put the brakes on Tiger’s career several years ago?
