1. Washington Wizards guard John Wall tore his left Achilles tendon in a fall at home and will be out this year and possibly all of next year as well.

2. The Lakers have made several offers for New Orleans All-Star Anthony Davis and are now waiting for counter offers from the Pelicans. Lakers President of basketball operations Magic Johnson threatened to end talks unless New Orleans engages in back and forth negotiations. The Lakers latest offer included at least five players and two first round picks sources said.

3. The Indiana Pacers routed the Lakers 136-94 Tuesday night dropping their record to 27-27.

4. Former Texas/NFL quarterback Vince Young was arrested in Texas early Monday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

5. College Basketball Top 5: 1. Tennessee 2. Duke 3. Virginia 4. Gonzaga 5. Kentucky.

6. New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman went from being suspended for the first four games of the season for using performance enhancing drugs to Super Bowl LIII MVP.

7. Super Bowl LIII was the lowest viewed Super Bowl since the 2007 season.

8. Rams running back Todd Gurley had just 11 touches for 34 total yards in Super Bowl LIII.

9. Patriots defensive playcaller Brian Flores was named the new head coach of the Miami Dolphins.

    Rams would have had a better chance if they threw a Hail Mary on every play. This game took football backwards 53 years.

    Magic’s next offer will include his stake in the Dodgers, his home, and an offer to personally wash & wax the Pelican owner’s fleet of cars for life. Seems the Lakers will do anything to avoid the embarrassment of asking Jerry West to come save their bacon.
